About us
Two of us wrote this,
at our kitchen table.
R.J. Halbert is Rhonda and Jason Halbert — a husband-and-wife team out of the music world who never planned to write a novel, and now have three.
We moved our family into an old Tudor home, found a lamp-post out front that had clearly been there far longer than the power lines, and started asking what if this place had a purpose of its own…
We wrote it with no publisher behind us — just a deep sense this story needed to be told. Though writing the books was life-changing for us, the hope is that every reader who starts the series will be impacted the same.
