The Goodpasture Chronicles is a complete supernatural trilogy by R.J. Halbert, read in this order:

Book 1 — Caretaker (2024). The Keane family arrives at Farr Hill. Start here.

Book 2 — Servant (2025). Zach vanishes; two timelines, twenty-five centuries apart, begin to converge. Kirkus Reviews starred review.

Book 3 — Architect (2026). The conclusion. Past and present entangle, and the story ends where it always promised: at the end of the dark night, there is light.

The trilogy is complete and binge-ready — the Keane family’s story resolves fully across the three books. Each one continues directly from the last, so reading in order matters.
